After updating to Windows 10 version 1903 I am unable to use Paint.net. Anytime a dialogue box opens (for example, using ctrl+n to start a new file) the program freezes and must be closed with task manager. I have updated to the latest version released July 13th 2019 with no change.
Edit: Another example. I can open a file by opening it with paint.net via windows explorer context menu and do some simple edits, but when I try to save that prompts a box that freezes the program.
Please advise.
Update: Disregard. Only after I posted this did it occur to me what could be causing the issue. I use Windows Blinds to skin my windows experience, and it's been displaying some oddities since the Windows Update. Turning that off solved the problem, and improved performance across my system (it had no performance impact prior to Windows 1903). Anyway, maybe someone else will benefit from this topic existing.
