Although I completely understand the reasons behind the cancellation of the competition, I can't help feeling very sad about it in many ways. The signature contests encouraged me to learn a lot when I was a PdN novice, and I stopped participating nearly a year ago only because it was around the time when my dad's health began to decline faster than before, so I've been mostly caregiving for him and therefore unable to do much art. This time I had however managed to finish a couple portraits and convert them into signatures I was going to share last week, but then on Thursday last week his decline got even worse and lastly passed away on Sunday morning after nearly 25 years with Parkinson's. Despite everything, I want to share here the pieces I had made, just to prove that this time I had actually managed to complete something.
But I like I said above, I understand it makes no sense to keep a contest running when there's such a little participation, which nonetheless brings me down anyway.

On a second read to your question, I'm guessing you probably need either Object Shadow or Object Shadow 3D, which are part of BoltBait's plugin pack (you can find their descriptions in the first post):

@Ellie Amore Take a look at the Shadow effect, under the Effects menu (Object submenu). Make sure to download the latest zip, which is version 1.3, and unzip it to the Effects folder.

I wanted to contribute one more entry, but as it happens, life got in the way and such. But it's true, the number of filters keeps growing, their possibilities are endless, and I've been using the artistic ones in my previous winning entries as well. The G'MIC library is unmissable. Greetings! 🖐🙂

Long before landing what I say to be her most outstanding role to day on the sci-fi series 12 Monkeys (2015-2018), Amanda Schull was a professional ballerina for several years until retiring in 2006 to fully pursue acting. Her first acting credit dates back to the year 2000 in the film Center Stage, where she deploys the magnificence of her classically styled maneuvers. Follows the sig-sized version of one portrait produced from this still, from her days as a ballet dancer. I used a good number of techniques and filters to create what I hope to be a decent comic-style artwork:

I seem to be noticing a faster performance in the new version, at least on my computer and concerning the filters I use the most. Many thanks for all the effort, @null54 🖐👍
