It was good for a while, but now it happened again...

I remember this starting to occur after 4.0.3 updated and it has been happening for a few times now. I just use Paint.NET as I normally do but sometimes the software just freezes and I get typical Windows notification that the software has encountered a problem and it needs to shut down. When this happens, Paint.NET won't even create a crashing document on the desktop. I can then open and use it normally. This issue occurs randomly without use of specific tool. I updated to 4.0.5 but it happened again just a minute ago. Can anyone help with this?
