  1. Figured it out but there isn't an error...
  2. Yep, I've followed those instructions exactly and watched a YouTube video about it but rather than opening the window with the tools tab it just opens the control panel.
  3. Error check doesn't come up when I click properties it just pulls up the control panel.
  4. That method doesnt work on my system. It just opens the control panel when I come to clicking Properties. That errors gone now, it just says 'Fatal error during installation'
  5. A random error started occuring upon opening the program, i assumed from the wording that some files were corrupt so I uninstalled the program and the started to re-install. Whilst installing a similar error appeared: System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'PaintDotNet.SystemLayer.FileSystem' threw an exception. ---> System.IO.IOException: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileSystemEnumerableIterator`1.CommonInit() at System.IO.FileSystemEnumerableIterator`1..ctor(String path, String originalUserPath, String searchPattern, SearchOption searchOption, SearchResultHandler`1 resultHandler, Boolean checkHost) at System.IO.Directory.GetFiles(String path, String searchPattern) at PaintDotNet.SystemLayer.FileSystem..cctor() in d:\src\pdn\paintdotnet\src\SystemLayer\FileSystem.cs:line 513 --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at PaintDotNet.SystemLayer.FileSystem.TryDeleteFile(String filePath)
