I would like to throw in my "thumbs up" for a square eraser tool. I have found some great workarounds but when you're working with straight lines at odd angles it's just easier to have a square eraser. I went to that feature request page and didn't see anything about different shapes for the eraser. Am I going blind and it's on there? I'm on 4.0.5 of PDN. Thanks.

Hello all, I too am trying to trim the transparent pixels around an image. I'm not new to paint.net but I don't understand usedHONDA's response of: S [four times] Shift+Click Ctrl+I Ctrl+Shift+X What am I clicking on when I do this and is it actually the letter "S" four times, etc? I don't quite follow this. In photoshop, if I remember correctly, the "trim transparent pixels" function was under the canvas menu setting. Thanks.
