I just ran across this same error. I am a basic computer user who has used, donated to and LOVED and bragged about Paint.net for years now. Suddenly, I cannot use it. I tried repairing, then uninstalled and tried to reinstall and the Reinstallation wont even complete because I get this JIT Debugging error that locks up my whole computer. I have to task manager end task to close it without completing installation. I am very frustrated and praying for a response in laymans/end user terms as I have no programming background.
