Fractalbase

Paint.Net seems like the graphical tool for my design needs. However, I would like the ability to pack individual images into a nice sprite sheet, or take a sprite sheet and split it into individual images. Is there a plugin to do these two things? Or does anyone have any recommendations on a different program or programs that can accomplish this? thanks, fb

One last (hopefully) question: is there a way to bulk convert the file format of pictures? Say from bmp to png?

I have a set of tiles that are 16x16 pixels. The tiles have a white color defining the symbol, and the rest is black. I will like to be able to: 1. convert all of the black pixels into transparent pixels 2. i will like to be able to do this in bulk as I have several hundred tiles. Any help on how to accomplish this with paint.net will be greatly appreciated! thanks, fb
