  1. Just installed ver. 4 beta...using Windows 8, 64 bit...so far so good...until I hit OK for the 'Emboss/Engrave' filter... Blink and gone...twice. No 'error message' or warning. Just lights out... Interesting...this is the beginning of the pop up crash info (about a 1/100 of the text): >> Application version: paint.net 4.0 (β 4.0.5168.12074) Time of crash: 4/8/2014 4:16:30 AM Application uptime: 07:22:24.0002300 Application state: Running Working set: 428,480 KiB Install directory: C:\Program Files\paint.net Current directory: C:\Program Files\paint.net OS Version: 6.1.7601.65536 Service Pack 1 Workstation x64 .NET version: CLR 4.0.30319.18444 x64, FX 4.0 4.5 Processor: 2x "Intel® Pentium® CPU G620 @ 2.60GHz" @ ~2594MHz (DEP, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4_1, SSE4_2, XSAVE) Physical memory: 6126 MB Hardware acceleration: True Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 210 UI animations: True UI DPI: 96.00 dpi (1.00x scale) UI theme: Aero/Aero (Aero.msstyles) Updates: True, 4/7/2014 Locale: pdnr.c: en-US, hklm: en-US, hkcu: en-US, cc: en-US, cuic: en-US Exception details: System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Void PaintDotNet.Utility.ClipNumericUpDown(System.Windows.Forms.NumericUpDown)'. at Toli.EngraveEmbossEffectConfigDialog.UpDownWidth_Leave(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.UpdateFocusedControl() Managed assemblies: --- Exception while populating assembliesInfo: System.NotSupportedException: The invoked member is not supported in a dynamic assembly. at System.Reflection.Emit.InternalAssemblyBuilder.get_Location() at PaintDotNet.Diagnostics.CrashLog.WriteCrashLog(Exception crashEx, TextWriter stream) in D:\src\pdn\paintdotnet\src\PaintDotNet\Diagnostics\CrashLog.cs:line 454 ?<< It notes I'm using ver. 4... I'm pretty much techno-challenged and the reports are greek to me...but as a newbie here, will look around and check the troubleshooting areas... If it's spelled out I can usually 'fix' whatever. ...or not... Thanks...
