My computer says that the driver is already up-to-date. Technically, it freezes when I click "scan" on the dialog box that appears. It sometimes gives the preview, but when I try to actually scan, it takes a while. After 10 or so minutes of absolutely nothing happening, I tried to back out. The scan button then said "Wait...". So I waited. That also took around 8 to ten minutes before I went to Task Manager. When I clicked "End Task", another dialog box appeared saying that Paint.net was not responding, and then it crashed. I'm also not sure how to attach my crash log.

I can't seem to be able to get an image from the printer. When I try, it freezes. If I try to back out of the scanning, it freezes.

I uninstalled the printer driver since I never use it. It works now, thanks.

It doesn't give me one. It just claims that it has stopped responding, and then it shuts down.

You know how if you hit Ctrl+P it goes to print the photo? I don't know why, but if I'm trying to press the brackets to increase my brush size, I sometimes accidentally open the printer. When this happens, a dialogue box appears saying Paint.NET has stopped responding, and it then shuts down. This has happened so may times that whenever I hit Ctrl+P I immediately know that all my work is gone. If I haven't saved, it immediately erases all of my progress. I like to animate and draw using this, and this is getting very frustrating.
