  1. I was getting the same exception, with the same "other memory is corrupt" message. It was happening to me whenever I tried to change the Anchor setting on the Canvas Size option. For me, it turned out to be an issue with my NVidia drivers. I went to the AMD website and upgraded my version of Catalyst Control Center to the latest (version 13.4 as of this writing). Problem solved. From what I've read on other sites, the NVidia drivers can cause this exception in other applications. If you are also using NVidia display drivers, try upgrading them. Hope this helps.
