  1. Release version 1.1.10. Changes: Fixed a crash when checking for duplicate tiles. Improved performance when compressing tiled images that have large areas of a single color. The single color tile optimization was inspired by Rick's Optimizing .PDN Save Times blog post. The first tile for each unique color will be compressed, any subsequent tiles that use the same color will reuse the compressed data from the first tile. This can significantly improve performance when saving images that contain large areas of a single color.

  3. This plug-in hosts Adobe® Photoshop®-compatible filter plug-ins under Paint.NET. Many filters should run although some may have issues, both Flaming Pear's LunarCell as well as their Free Plugins work correctly. For instructions on installing 8bf filters see Installing 8bf filters. This plugin is compatible with Paint.NET 3.5.11 and 4.0.x. Download PSFilterPdn.zip Place both PSFilterPdn.dll and PSFilterShim.exe in your Effects folder. Effects->8bf Filter... Source Code https://github.com/0xC0000054/PSFilterPdn

  4. Hello @T E A L you can run your crash log through the gizmo we have here: I ran it for you and it shows that you are running an older version of paint.net. Please update to the latest version to avoid crashes

  6. I agree totally @barbieq25. I went as a child and yes they were cool to see but I know they would be much happier in the wild. When that whole fiasco happened where the orca killed a handler I thought, DUH, they are wild animals. Anything can happen. Shoot, even dolphins that we think are so cute and docile can ram a shark and give it a world of hurt. And yes I look forward to playing with the plugin. I have not used it.

  9. Are you trying to change the background so that it fades to white at the edges? If so, you can do it this way: Place a layer on top of your image and color white all around your item, then blur it until it fades nicely into your background.

  11. @barbieq25 Your image is wonderfully colorful and I really like how it glows. The rainbow effect sure makes it pop! If I may ask, what EER plugin did you use? I have been looking at his plugins but not sure any of them are what you used. Thanks!

  16. Plugin which allows the digital image editor "Paint.NET" to take measurements of the active selection or of the whole image. This works for regular shapes like rectangles, for irregular ones, and for not connected shapes. You may set unit, dpi and scale if you have to do measurements in a map or a technical drawing. Measured values are area and centroid of the selection area, width, height, diagonal, and angles of the bounding rectangle. So if you like to measure the distance between two points in the image just use a selection rectangle form one point to the other and check the value for 'Diagonal' in Measure Selection. You may use the resulting angle value to straighten your image using the rotate tool. Or if you need the area of a cirle just use a circle selection. Download >> MeasureSelection.Effect v1.5.zip Example Installation Unzip "MeasureSelection.Effect vX.X.zip" and copy the following files MeasureSelection.dll, MeasureSelection.dlc into the Effects folder of your Paint.NET installation. A typical location is "C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects". OptionBasedLibrary vY.Y.dll, OptionBasedLibrary vY.Y.dlc into the folder of your Paint.NET installation (not into the Effect folder!). A typical location is "C:\Program Files\Paint.NET". After a restart of Paint.NET you will find the plugin under Menu->Effects->Tools. You may add your own translation to MeasureSelection.dlc Package content The effect dll file The effect dlc file (unicode txt file containing keywords) The OptionBasedLibrary dll file The OptionBasedLibrary dlc file (unicode txt file containing keywords) A readme file An image of the effect dialog Instructions Do or do not a selection in an image Open plugin (Menu->Effects->Tools->Measure Selection...)
