  1. This plugin can be used to render Julia set fractals using a variety of settings. Adding color options would have made the UI too big, but it can be achieved using my Duotone Gradient Mapping plugin. I hope you enjoy this one! Download: Advanced Julia Fractal.zip Can be found in Effects > Render > Advanced Julia Fractal Previews: Code: (Made in a few hours, so there is probably a lot to improve) // Name: Advanced Julia Fractal // Submenu: Render // Author: Pascal // Title: Advanced Julia Fractal // Version: 1.0.0 // Desc: /

  2. Made some progress in recovery of OBL and was able to support the theme setting in PDN. As an example a screenshot of the 'Color Harmonies' plugin using the OBL in development.

  3. After a feature request thread, I thought that I would make a simple plugin to solve this problem. So simple, that a caveman can do it. Right now, I made this as a test to see if anyone finds it useful, and if anyone does, I will immediately make it public after a few more edit to source code. No longer needed, I published the code after approval hedre. The purpose of this plugin is to make it easier to manipulate individual channel, and to treat different layers as channel. To combine them, all you need to do is to set them to Addition blending mode. In the case of alpha, you woul

  7. So many broken photo links (thanks for nothing, photobucket!) in the old thread... time to start a new one. Let's get to know each other. This is the thread to post pictures of yourself. I'll start: Me: Me after getting my hair done: Me with Rick Brewster: Your turn! Show yourself! Link to the Old thread: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/3940-show-yourself/

  8. After reading the channel extraction problem made by @garry15, I decided to make a plugin with the KISS principle (keep it simple, stupid) or Occam's Razor principle (the easiest answer is often the correct one) to resolve the problem. Here's the plugin - Channel Extraction.zip You'll find it under Effect-> Colors with the name Channel Extraction. Sample of GUI Finally, the parameters: Channel Choice - Defines what channel to extract. No need to explain. Direction should be self-explanatory, but I'll explain anway. Cha

  11. You may be able to find an entry in the Event Viewer app that comes with Windows. Go to the Windows Logs -> Application section and you may see a red error (the "Level" column will say "Error").

  12. Hi @ardneh This is a rough draft. As I've not got a new idea yet, I will probably do more with it. Thanks for your suggestion. Cheers.😉

  13. Right click on the icon and see if you have an option to "open file location". When the location opens, post a screenshot showing the contents of that folder.

  14. @NSDIn a second step we may do this. In the moment OBL still references PDN 3.5.11 dlls. But first I really like to recover as many of my plugins as possible using a single version of OBL (0.8?). Just to remember and figure out what I did there to get OBL to run. I have to setup git repositories for all the projects. This is not a one day job... 😉

  21. As short as the time was, yes, I enjoyed spending time with my daughter and my grand-kids. We enjoy playing board games. We played Patchwork and Rivals for Catan which is a 2 player card game based on the Settlers game. It was just as fun (frustrating, ha!) as the original. Me with my daughter, @lizzy_1_year:

  24. I've been making book covers for myself and others for over four years so for once I feel comfortable answering a question! Actually, THERE ARE templates out there if you're talking about creating a physical book cover (like a paperback through CreateSpace). Once you have your finished manuscript and you know how many pages there are (this is important because the spine width is the trickiest part), go to this CreateSpace page. Input your page count and type of paper (I prefer cream myself, it has a nicer finish and the paper is thicker, giving you a bigger book). It will spit out a zip fil
