  1. @Joshua Lamusga, IUserFilesService is working correctly in this plugin; it returns the directory path without issue. The problem arises when checking if BrushFactorySettings.xml exists in that directory. If the XML file doesn't exist, then your code throws an exception. To make matters worse, the plugin won't ever create the XML file, because an instance of BrushFactorySettings never gets initialized.

  2. January Update Here is the latest round-up of new plugins. Happy New Year to you all! Dynamic Contrast ReMake Similar to the Photoshop's Dynamic Contrast filter, which allows the creation of high contrast images. Discussion of the color theory is a nice additional touch. Source code provided. Fragment Blur+ Reptillian New version of Fragment Blur (algorithm is not exactly the same). New features are color space options, boundary options, utilize half image hypotenuse rather than distance, linear interpolation shift, superimposing the original. Source

  3. Just want to apologize for the further delay and assure you I haven't forgotten about this. I have not, for whatever reason, been too industrious lately, but hope I can release a version of this plugin soon.

  4. I have attached the test build that I mentioned in my previous post. This should hopefully fix the crash that @DragonFox and @Pixey are seeing when saving a 1024x1024 pixel file. If it works I will submit the changes to Rick for inclusion in a new build. This build has been superseded by the one in the following post: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/31629-animated-images/?do=findComment&comment=579403

  6. Hello @Nocruor0 and welcome to the forum Golly! It could be a number of possible Plugins. I'm going to take a stab at - it's either Color Filter or Color Tint which are Ed Harvey's.

  7. Thanks for your feedback @Pixey, @lynxster4, @Red ochre, @Ladybug, @ReMake, @Reptillian! See you next year. Just do not OverCrystallize you two. I was kinda crying with that one but okay. 😈 Would love to be a false prophet. When gallows humor is the last resort... πŸ‘‡

  8. The name of this folder is localized (translated), so that suggestion will only work for English. I would have them click on Open Palettes Folder and see how well that works. It will automatically create all the folders if possible:

  9. 🟒ENCHGA'S ART GALLERY🟒 (More info in "About Me" page) This topic contains all of my arts i made in Paint.net I like Paint.net because of it's simplicity. Right now i'm thinking about moving to another art program such as Clip Studio Paint (because i bought it). So if i'll completely move from PDN then consider this topic as my archive... If you have doubts about these arts been drawn in Paint.net then i can show you the projects (PDN files) of these. Glad i save them all the time after i finish them. 2021 Artworks 2020 Artworks

  10. I'd like some 'Wine', too! 🍷 These are all great @Vagabondi! 'Digital Panorama', 'Crystal Clear', 'Sleeping Protest' I really love... 'Hey DJ' is soooo lively, I want to listen to some music. πŸŽ§πŸ“» Every Picture Tells A Story... πŸ˜‰ (don't it?)

  11. Lol @Pixey I was just typing that he should ask you about the water reflection and there you are! I am curious about it too as I have yet to use it. @frer8833the photo from the post shows up as a black square for me but if you click on it, the link takes you to the original post that has the image. If it works for you would be great to see the outcome as I said I want to learn to use this myself.

  13. If I understand you right, then the easiest way to achieve that is by tracing over your drawing with the Line / Curve tool and the Shapes tool. No amount of editing can match that. If you insist in editing the hand-drawn scan, in addition to the plugins you and @Red ochre mention above, you may also find his Alpha-threshold and Stray Pixel Remover, Feather Object and AA's Assistant useful.

  14. Hello Roferli I often scan hand drawn images and wrote my Two tone threshold adjustment plugin to help with cleaning the background and making lines darker. You can also choose the black on a transparent background option which makes recolouring using Object2Colour easy. Once the lines are an 'object' they can be thickened using my Grow plugin set to 'Alpha - grow objects', or any of the other outline object plugins. The AAAssistant plugin may help to smooth edges too, once the lines are an object on their own layer. For Mandala type patterns I recommend shapem

  15. I was curious about these errors, so I opened Brush Factory this morning, and I too see the error messages. Running Windows 10 20H2. I'm using IUserFilesService in a few of my plugins, and it's working fine in those. I'll take a look at what's going on in the Brush Factory source code later tonight when I get back from work.

  16. This is essentially a upgraded Fragment Blur though the algorithm isn't exactly the same as the native one, it is very similar nonetheless. New features are color space options, boundary options, utilize half image hypotenuse rather than distance, linear interpolation shift, superimposing the original. Examples provided kindly by @lynxster4: How to install: Download the zip, and extract it directly into the Effects folder (If you already have GmicSharpNative folder). -> GmicFragmentBlurPlus.zip If you don't have 'GmicSharpNativefolde
