  1. I have an idea... YOU give the people what they want. Rick decided a long time ago to give the people what HE wants. After all, It's his time and effort. I think once you learn to work with layers you won't think it so cumbersome. But, if you're not willing to learn... don't let the door hit you on the way out.

  4. My image is set up ready to create a Texture in OpenGL, and that needs RGBA order. To write the BMP file in BGRA order I would have to swizzle all the data. Not a big deal, but it seemed like it shouldn't be necessary as the DIB header supports a quite generic setup using the alpha masks. I guess WIC doesn't support the format generally. Seems odd that it reads the colors ok, but just ignores the alpha channel with RGBA and not in BGRA. Thanks anyway. I'll have to just swizzle the data.

  5. Hi. Long time reader, first time poster. I did several searches with both types of forum search, plus google, but came up short. Has anyone ever made a shapes pack just containing various types of eyes? If you've seen such a thing, please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

  7. It looks like the OP got his answer and is happy about it. However, the title of this topic will direct here PDN users looking for a ways to tile an image. In addition to the @Curtis plugin mentioned by @Pixey above, images can be tiled using the built-in Layers Rotate / Zoom in the Layers Menu, also using @Red ochre's Aardvark tiling effect plugin.

  9. If you get that error then what you have is not a PNG image. It may be a file with a .png extension, but it's not a PNG image.

  10. It hasn't been asked for by "countless" people. Only a very small number of people. If you've already moved on then why did you bother showing up here to throw a temper tantrum? Why'd you come and dump all over TheAmazingsDragoon's thread? I guess you won't mind if I ban you. Oh the irony ...
