This effect is based on the PS Emboss effect by @Cookies and is an improved version of it. You can find it in Effects -> Stylize -> Emboss+ Emboss+.zip For comparison, I used a smaller copy of the image from the original post by @Cookies: PS Emboss result with default settings: Photoshop's Emboss result with the same settings as the PS Emboss: Emboss+ result with the same settings as the PS Emboss: A few more images to compare with the following settings: Angle - 135, Height - 10, Amount - 110. Original image: PS Emboss: Photoshop's Emboss: Emboss+: In my opinion, the result of Emboss+ is closer to the Photoshop Emboss result.

@ReMake, I have to say, looking at the Photoshop's filter and your Emboss+ pictures, I'd say you managed to nail Emboss+.

I definitely agree @ReMake! I would love to see you release this officially after the testing period and any needed tweaks. 😀 Just a quick go at it. The colors 'pop' wonderfully when I put a black layer underneath and set the blending mode on the zebras to 'Glow'.

Secure Download If you get a warning, try the unencrypted download. An often-requested feature now included in Popular Feature Requests is the ability to re-edit text. This plugin is an alternative text-tool that includes that feature. It works by using Steganography to store the details of the text in the text layer. To add text to an image, create a new layer and click Effects -> Tools -> Editable Text. Then enter the text and text style. To edit the text, simply run the plugin again. Do not make any changes to that layer apart from layer properties and editing the text with this plugin.

Another excellent tutorial Welshy! Thank you. You make it seem so easy A few comments if I may... and taking nothing away from this impressive tut.... 1. You might like to mention that the first rounded rectangle goes on a new transparent layer. 2. (This is a really minor one...) I would like to see a little shadowing on the switch casing to give an indication that the horizontal line on the switch is the highest point. I think this would enhance the idea of it being a rocker switch. 3. Step numbering. Pretty please? It makes it so much easier to say "I'm lost on step #13. When do I skin the cat - before or after sacrificing it?" Thanks again!
