  2. This is my first tutorial on how to make a deep-fried meme. Find out more about deep-fried memes here: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/deep-fried-memes You will need the following plugins: Camera Trouser Flare by Stuart Radforth Overblur by John "Red Ochre" Robbins Curves+ by Zach "Pyrochild" Walker For this tutorial I will use this image: Step one: Run Overblur and crank the overblur all the way to the right. This will sharpen the image. Then set the blur radius to 5. Repeat with a radius of 1. (You may need to adjust the last radius depending on how big the image is) Step two: Open Curves+ and choose the "Hot" preset. (This image had to be optimized, but it's alright.) Step three (optional): Use Camera Trouser Flare and position the flares over the eyes to make it look dank. For this tutorial I will use the "Blue" type. This tutorial is over. I hope you like it, cause then you'll have finally learned how to deep fry images. Thanks!

  3. The theme this week is – "Butterflies " Chosen by ( @Seerose SOTW #187 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to contain ‘Butterflies ’. Examples can be viewed here. The deadline for entries is 6:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (DST) on Saturday, July 21st, 2018. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.

  4. I had never heard of deep-fried images before. Thanks for the tutorial! (I'll give it a go asap) ? Welcome to the forum, by the way!

  5. Version 1.6 posted. Previously, the effect would increasingly go slower as the Margin increased. Now the effect increasingly goes faster as the Margin increases! I've also moved the Anti-aliasing checkbox directly below the Radius slider.

  6. Version 1.4 posted. This adds a built-in Russian Translation, and defaults the Font dropdown to Arial.

  7. Indeed, delete the files in the demo folders (and in those only!) for the effects you don't need from the project, or edit the .csproj file directly. To change a submenu, modify the third parameter in the constructor call. For example, change public SmartBlurEffect() : base("Smart Blur", Resources.SmartBlurImage, "Smart Effects", EffectFlags.Configurable) to public SmartBlurEffect() : base("Smart Blur", Resources.SmartBlurImage, "Blurs", EffectFlags.Configurable) Kris. Ah, thanks for clearing that out.
