It's a simple math problem. Assuming you want to create an 8x10 template @ 300dpi....
8x300= 2400 pixels
10x300= 3000 pixels
Make your template 2400 x 3000 pixels. Adjust as needed for various dpi requirements.
Why do you think that animated png is smaller file size than gif? That's never been the case in my testing done years ago. Animated png makes better quality, but larger file size. WebP is definitely more efficient, but support for it is very poor.
I wonder if you are talking about something like "Symmetry Painting" found in Gimp. It allows you to draw on multiple parts of an image at the same time.

I would love to test out this filter, but it won't run on my version of PDN (4.0.13). I guess I'll have to setup a Win10 VM and update PDN to try this plugin out.
