I want to be able to make everything in the picture black and white except for a couple of objects.

I tried the Conditional Hue/Saturation but I cant pick which objects, therefore it doesnt keep the colored objects I want to keep.

This is where you improvise. Note that image editing programs require that every now and then, and there's not an automatic filter for everything.

Try this (exactly as I say):

Add a new layer,

with the line tool, on the new layer, outline (with no gaps) each object you want to stay colored.

Once done outlining, ctrl+left click the insides of each of the three outlines.

Click the first layer.

Hit ctrl+I

hit ctrl+shift+G.

Delete the outline layer.

You're done.

Good job Tendercrisp... that's how to help someone. I learned something too :)

Agreed. Tendercrisp, that was an EXCELLENT reply. On par with Myrddin's replies, or even CMD's (when he's around).

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
