If you like cheesy Kung Fu movies then Kung Pow is a great film. It has all the traits of films like that: bad dubbing (although it's deliberate in this case), very over the top fight scenes & a hilariously bad, comical & see-through plot.

Very funny film :D

WickerMan (new or old) -10 out of 10. It was not that bad of a movie until the end. The twist at the end of it made the first 90% of it null and void. One of the worst movies I have ever seen. I was even thinking of a ground breaking lawsuit sueing the producers of it to re-gain the lost time I spent watching the movies. On the other had Transformers had really cool effects but probley the best movie I have watched latly is either The last castle or Deja Vu.

Last movies I watched were I Am Legend and Alvin and the Chipmunks.

I am legend; 8/10 - I didn't like the ending. >_>

Alvin and the chipmunks 8.5/10 - Hilarious. Just a few parts that I didn't like it.

Oh yeah.. I just went and seen that movie.. Juno.

It was hilarious

9/10

I just watched the movie Casino. Wow. What a great film. And, based on a true story too. Sweet.

Yeah, great Bob De Niro!

What about Once Upon A Time In America, also starring a charming B. De Niro (and a long list of characters including Joe Pesci, James Woods, young Jennifer Connelly....) directed by our great Sergio Leone with the musics of Ennio Morricone? I just love that movie! (and keep re-watching it...)

That's it, I knew it and found it! I am Legend is the re-make of one of the worst movie ever, starring Charlton Heston (A.K.A. as the "acting denture") called The Omega Man! even if I got credits to give to the author of the novel Richard Matheson ( a good sci.fi. writer) Hope the new version is better than that one :

Just got back from "There Will Be Blood" (Otherwise known as "There Will Be Oscars").

I thought that this was a GREAT movie that was about an hour and a half too long.

Oh, and the "music" was annoying.

Don't get me wrong... I was blown away by Daniel Day-Lewis' performance. I just think the writer/director didn't know what he was doing.

I don't recommend seeing it until it is shown on TV where it will be cut down to a reasonable length.

Cloverfield ALSO 10/10

I liked the whole movie here and there but as they say, I got motion sickness watching that movie :P

The Eye remake 10/10

Movie was marvelous. It was scary enough to close me eyes and cover my ears. :D

Getting caught up on some movies...

I watched Shooter (with Mark Wahlburg) last night. While I'm not a big fan of MW, and there where some holes in the plot, I did find it fun to watch.

Next up, 3:10 to Yuma and Ray...

Shooter was fun to watch indeed... but I don't care for the plot too much. [Just give me guns, explosions, and women, and I'll be content.]

3:10 to Yuma was excellent in my opinion, although the ending irked me.

Haven't seen Ray, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I'm pretty up to date on my movie list, but I have yet to see There Will Be Blood. Any opinions on that?

I knew you would find something that interests you, Alex. But yes, he is correct. Omega Man was a remake of The Last Man on Earth which was based on the novel I am Legend

I watched a fairly decent movie last night: August Rush.

I wasn't expecting much since my wife was so excited about renting it. But, I have to admit that it was pretty good. It got fairly mixed reviews.

The story was a bit corny, but who cares? It's a feel-good film.

Personally, I enjoyed the music and the thoughts on music.

I've been sick over the past week and got caught up on a few movies:

Gangs of New York: Meh.

The Italian Job (new one): Meh.

The Thomas Crown Afair (old one): Good.

Gengleman Jim (Errol Flynn): Loved it.

Maybe I was expecting too much from Gangs of New York. While the movie was really pretty to look at, the story was just... meh. I really didn't care too much for the caracters. It could have been sooo much better.

Gengleman Jim was a great comedy/boxing movie. It's one of those old black-and-white movies your grandparents watched. ;)

You should watch it and another old classic called My Man Godfrey.

National Treasure: Loved it.

I Am Legend (with Wil Smith)

Wow. That was a good movie. I really like the zombies in this one. They are like the ones in the remake of Dawn of the Dead. Fast. No, faster than that. I'm talkin' FAST!

I gotta recommend this one at about a 7.5/10. Nice job. :D
