Sepia like effect

I downloaded the Sepia effect from the old board and I love it.

Is there a similar effect that will convert the image to the selected foreground color instead of Sepia?

I often need to do something like this for creating background images.

There is no effect that does this, but you can accomplish this yourself quite easily:

1. Desaturate the layer you want to change to another color.

2. Create a new layer on top of it.

3. Set that layer to use the Multiply blending mode.

4. Fill the layer with the color you are interested in.

I tried this today and it worked exactly as you said. It was perfect.

I just needed to adjust the Opacity of the color layer for the desired effect.
