Go to the first post & click the link TextWindow.zip near the bottom of the post.

Unzip it and copy the DLL file into paint.net/Effects/ then restart paint.net.

Version 1.3 posted. Unusable fonts will no longer be available in the UI, thus eliminating the "Font Error" messages. I also simplified the code that draws the text.

I noticed the text was coming out transparent so I made good use of it.

 

 

Something different from all those other text plugins.

Hi,  This plug-in looks very useful but when I type the letters are always transparent.  Is there any way that i am missing of turning this off?  I know that I could create a coloured layer beneath the text but this would cause problems in my image.

That's the point of the plugin. Why do you want to turn it off? Do just want repeated text?

Do you think it would be possible to modify this plugin to work as in my video below?
Because of my low programming skills with C#, I failed to make this plugin to work properly with small fonts as well.

This adds a built-in Russian Translation, and defaults the Font dropdown to Arial.
