This is not exactly a plugin, but there wasn't anywhere else to put it, it's a palette file.

This is a palette file based on the basic palettes in the WarioWare DIY Game MakerMatic

The download link is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4ve1aanyx0040g9/warioware_diy_paint.net_palette.zip?dl=0

I have nothing else to write here.

The easiest way is to modify an existing palette and save it (see http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/WorkingWithPalettes.html)

OR

Make an image with a nice palette and use this plugin to export the palette Palette from Image

Palettes need to be in *.txt format so paint.net can read them. As the above link shows, you can load different palettes easily.

I would just like to add, that the plugin referenced here is on a thread that is closed. The plugin download is just a series of many numbers but when downloading "Palette from Image" before saving the file to your computer, or external source, just delete those crazy numbers and rename it to "Palette from Image" and also add the .zip extension at the end.

Also, it does still work. I just tried it with the 4.1.5 version of Paint.Net, however, at this time the plugin only saves the new palette in the "Documents" file folder.  You name your palette before saving it. You'll find its .txt file in Documents. Currently, one can only make one palette at a time. If you want to make more, you'll have to close Paint.Net entirely, reopen it, and use the plugin again to make another one...and, frankly, Paint.Net  opens like it's running on a Ferrari engine, so, it's not a big deal to me. ...or maybe I'm just not too picky? I mean, plugins are like presents. Sometimes it's like Christmas, Hanukkah, and birthdays around this place, all through the year, for everyone. I always love my presents around this place and I'm grateful to the present providers. So, if one's not completely broken, but just a little dented, well, I don't mind.

I'm new here, and right now, I'm going to share a palette I made for my project. This is based on the web palette and since it can only fit 96 colors, I had to make a simple palette complete with simple skin tones for pixel arts.

4Rzifsn.png Human Faces......

I have compiled a range of possible colours and tones expected on a human face, from skin, lips, hair, eyes, shadow/shading, make up etc.
This is not a scientific list nor is it an exhaustive list, just an aid to colouring faces.

Notice the last two entries are for adding shade and lightening  and can be useful for blending and various other effects.

Hello, I'm new to the forum, but I noticed a lack of any real advanced palette systems so I made my own. This is a palette collection I use when editing images with many possible colors at high resolution. I use the big image as a loaded image palette, and the smaller ones are actually saved as palette files. If you have any questions or require custom toned palettes, let me know. KCPS is just a system I use for designing palettes for all of my art programs. "Kittani's Color Palette System" . It is based off of relative steps between shades and hues.

There are 19 text files in the zipped file KCPS PAlletes.zip. They are all paint.net palette files. Were you expecting images?

Find out how to use these text files here: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/WorkingWithPalettes.html

No, I wasn't expecting to see images. I was expecting to see the folder of the files I had unzipped and I didn't see anything. I downloaded the KCPS Palletes zip file which has a link attached to it: https://forums.getpaint.net/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=2986 (the link is what was downloading. Not the zip file.)

EDIT: I figured it out. I clicked the file, opened the peazip app and clicked the option yes when asked about the new archive and moved the files to the palettes folder. The palettes work. :)

EDIT: Here's the working 211 Palettes Set. -> PaintNET_Palettes.zip

Also, you may want to be selective before inserting to palettes folder as trying to select one of them all to switch to can slow your computer down.

Thanks, I will try this one. :) It works. :)

Not to nit-pick but the sepia-toned palette and electric blue palette are identical. BTW, thank you for sharing your palettes. Rick

I've always loved limited color palettes, and my recent discovery of Pico-8 has helped fuel that. Here's all 16 colors of the pico-8 color palette!

By the way, if you're using a plugin to convert it to the color palette, be sure to specify index 1-16.

Spoiler

; Pico-8 Color Palette
; by Ovscore_
; Using the exact values from the wiki, this is all 16 of the colors used in the Pico-8 fantasy console.
; As you would expect, the only slots used are the first 16, so be sure to specify that when changing the palette of an image.
; Feel free to message me at https://twitter.com/wafflestanding if you have questions.

I'll place this blank palette here in case someone else is looking it. All 96 color slots are filled with transparent black.

This is created by getting the first 96 colors of hexadecimal in pi in hexadecimal form (removed duplicates values), then sorted by hue. Love it or hate it.
