DigiHound
Just started having this problem after upgrading to Paint.net 4.0. Let's say I have a graph open in Microsoft Excel 2007. The graph size according to CS6 is 577x662. The graph, according to Paint.net 4.0, is 901x1034. Nothing I do appears to fix this. Turning hardware acceleration on and off has no affect. Restarting both Paint.net, MS Excel, and the system has no effect. Changing the number of pixels per sq. cm shown in the Paint.net initial "New Image" dialog does nothing. Changing that number and the resolution does nothing -- when I try to paste the graph into an already-created image, the program insists on resizing the image to "fit" the too-large graph. Rick Brewster
Yeah this is a result of a change whereby the PNG stored on the clipboard is given a higher priority than some other formats. It's not working out so well unfortunately, so I'm reverting it in the next update.
