UnUtilisateur
Hi, Since the last version I get a lot of freezes when I wish to save my work. Most of the time I use Paint.Net like this : I open Paint.Net I select an image in Chrome, using right-click menu "Copy Picture" In Paint.Net, I paste it like New Image Work with the picture (layers, color, stretch, dimension, anything...) I click on the icon Save The Save-Window opens but all is white in. I can see the frame, the buttons, but no other objects or texts... the process is frozen. I must close it and lose my work. If I relaod the image no problem...maybe yes, maybe not. Hard to debug, I cannot reproduce the crash on demand. OS : W8.1 legit up-to-date, 500Gb SSD, 32Gb RAM, Core I7
Rick Brewster
This usually happens when you have a shell extension installed which is broken. For instance, DivX has a thumbnail handler that doesn't always work very well. Or it can happen if your last save location was on a network share that isn't available anymore (or any other location that is poorly behaved) (in this case it usually resolves itself after a minute or so and then defaults to the My Pictures folder).
