mickanta
Hi I am new to photo editing. I want to change the size of a image for instance image size 6"x4" I would like to change this to 3"x3" or 4"x4" without distorting the image. I have been advised that it easy to do this in paint.net Mickanta
Pixey
Hi Mickanta and Welcome to PDN. You could try these two options: 1. Upload the photo to PDN and keep it selected (active), change the units in the top bar to inches, and whilst holding down shift, move the little 'nubs' on the corner to resize the photo to the desired size. or: 2. Upload image and go to Image - Resize image - uncheck the box Maintain aspect ratio - and enter the new size. Good Luck . david.atwell
You won't be able to resize the image from 6x4 to 3x3 or 4x4 without distortion unless you're willing to crop a little bit off of the image. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
Rick Brewster
1. Set the units to "Inches" in the toolbar. 2. Go to Image -> Resize and adjust "Resolution" until the "Print Size" is what you want. 3. Profit?
