Milanodan
I've been using Paint.net for a few years, but only with .jpg photos. I recently scanned some text as a .jpg and cannot figure out how to correct some spelling errors. Also, the paper I scanned was far removed from the original, so the white blank areas are full of black artifacts. Is there some way to have Paint.net recognize the actual test so I can have a clean text copy? Thanks.
barbieq25
I would say that you need to adjust the settings on the scanner to get a cleaner copy of the text in the first place. As for correcting spelling errors with the text, you cannot do this with Paint.NET since it is treating the image as an image & not a piece of text. It would be more less hassle to type out a new copy unless there are very many pages. There is an editable text plugin but I have no idea how it works. OddLlama
Find the font used, erase spelling mistakes, retype with correct font? And if you can't find the right font manually copy/paste other letters from the document.
