SOTW#63 - Topic - The Five Senses- Winners Announced

The theme is: The five senses and was picked by: Rafroller (nominated by Yellowman)

This Weeks Theme Is – The five senses - hearing, sight, touch, smell and taste,

create a sig based any one (or more if you like) of the five above.

This should be an interesting comp again

The deadline for this competition is 9:45pm (GMT) on Sunday 2^nd of September.

Please take a moment to read the rules below.

If your entry breaks any of them, it will get disqualified.

The Rules:

1.Max sig dimensions 500x200. NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500x150, if it's too large don't try to use it as your sig.

2.No crude or offensive language, pics, etcetera.

3. Your entry must follow the set theme.

4. Only one entry per person*, but modifications to your image are allowed* after submitting your entry (*See Amended Rule below)

5.You must post the URLs to any and all stock images used in your sig.

6.Your post should include your sig and links to your source images.

7. Use new, fresh sigs. The idea is to get you to create new things, and if you are just pulling out an old one, you are not doing that.

The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition! and can also take part, the more entries, the better the comp

Amended Rule:

To explain rule #4 in more detail:

If there are not enough entries three days before the deadline you may enter more than one sig (please note, this is only if there is less than six entries)

Any amendment to your entry has to be cosmetic only. (Background colour change, resize, font, etc)

Please state the reason for your edit.

Important

No uploading a place holding sig and then adding a new one later in the week

Just re-searched for image using work comp and found it on page 1 yet when I search at home it doesn't appear ( both searches done through google images ) strange but true.

Okay, the voting deadline has arrived, the count has been made and the result is as follows;

In first place is dug with 9 votes.

Taking second place is me nitenurse79 with 7 votes

Third place is shared between Minners71 / Welshblue and Midora with 6 votes each.

Yes, someone has changed it. I'm not sure if you can lock it after a certain time but it might be worth looking into. Another option is to use Poll Daddy where it is lockable & results of the poll can be hidden until end of voting time.

I think this is now the second time this has happened & I wish people would desist. I am hoping that it is an honest error. Hosting comps is time-consuming enough & I thank you for your efforts since you are doing a really great job.

I think the only time it is locked is when it gets moved to the archive. It would be nice to have a feature on the poll to dissable it once I (or other hosts) have announced the winners.
