Unofficial Paint.NET 3.0 Logo Contest (Ended)

This was suggested in the Pictorium. I love the idea...

As noted in the title, this is not an official contest.

Voting starts now!!

Send all votes to me(barkbark00) as a Private Message.

Polls will be open until Wednesday, the 7th of February at Midnight EST.

Vote for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Please include the following for each:

• - Name of the author.
  - Entry number.

Vote Calculation:

1st place vote = 3 points

2nd place vote = 2 points

3rd place vote = 1 point

*points will be tallied per entry and final totals will be posted.

*All votes are final. Please DO NOT vote for yourself :wink:

Prize:

Respect of your peers.

Rules:

1. Entries in by Jan. 31st

2. Keep multiple entries in same post.

3. Max posted image width: 800px. For larger files link image and post thumbnails.

4. Please refrain from pilfering others' ideas.

5. Try to make stuff that you would actually use as a logo, not just pictures that incorporate the phrase "paint.net".

6. Dead links will be removed.

To make things a little more organized I have added a limit to the number of entries per member. This should make voting much less confusing come Jan. 31st.

WOW! I totally missed that. Looks like I should have stepped back to take a look before posting.

I fixed it, but now the shading and transparency is off. I will redo it later.

EDIT: If I had not cropped the image for the sake of file size, the '3.0' part would be at the fair center of the image, - it being the focal center and all...

Yes, this will be a lot of fun. Here's is a pretty simple one to get started.

Just remember that I'm a newbe of less than a month, and I have no prior experience with paint programs.

This will be great practice!

The first one is so close to it that it doesn't need to be considered.

( not that either of these would ever be seriously considered )

Actually legally just by creating the work and displaying it you have copyrights to it. But that doesn't prevent you from saying, "hey illnab, you have my permission!"

I was using a Mac font and I had translated "paint" to Japanise BETA on Google to get ペンキ.
