barkbark00 Posted October 18, 2006 Share Posted October 18, 2006 I made some realistic sand once for a Beer Label HERE I think it was just one layer filled with a light tan and then some darker brown noise. Then i just made another layer and randomly drew some large dark brown likes and dots and did a radial blur to give a 3D look. barkbark00 Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 Open a new image(size doesn't matter). Fill Bg with light tan. Make the primary color a medium brown and the secondary color a light tan. Add noise (Color Saturation = 0, Intesity = 70 to 100). Make new layer and draw random thick medium brown lines and dots for shadowing. Blur and frost new layer as needed. If you need this to be more detailed maybe one of the seasoned tutorial writers make one for the tutorial section.
