Abstract of the Week Competition # 15

This is the first competition dedicated to Abstract Art created in Paint.Net.

Here are the rules....

Theme is " The Heights and the Depths ..."

Imagine yourself at the top of the city's tallest skyscraper,

perched on the pinnacle edge of a high escarpment,

or clinging to the wobbly tip-top of an ancient redwood tree.

You look out at the expansive vista before you ... ... or maybe you look down (ulp!)

Perhaps you stand at the base of one of these giants,

looking up to where the top vanishes into a limitless sky.

Alternately, you might consider the range of human feeling,

from the depths of despair to the height of elation.

And how the knowledge of one affects the experience of the other.

Let any of these things (or something more uniquely personal) be your inspiration for AOTW #15.

And as always ...

May the Muse be with you!

Your image may be representational or non-representational.

Your image can include text, shapes, colors, textures or anything in between

with the exception of stock images and renders

This competition is all about Paint.net and the artists who use it to their creative best.

Now get out there and think in abstract terms. And as always, use your imagination !

Minimum image size is 800 X 600. There is no maximum image size.

DO NOT COPY IT TO ANYONE ELSE.

I WILL POST THE IMAGES IN THE COMP AS THEY ARE ENTERED.

DO NOT POST YOUR IMAGE IN YOUR IMAGE GALLERY OR IN THE PICTORIUM OR ANYWHERE ON THIS SITE.

No images previously submitted will be allowed.

The Entry period for this competition runs through

Monday evening November 29th, 2010 at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Saving Time.

All Entries submitted up to that time will be accepted.
