Forum Profile Pic Error (?)

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to upload a new profile picture (not avatar, or sig) and it keeps telling me "The file you uploaded is too large."

Here are the specs of the picture:

File Type: 8-bit PNG

File Size: 6.92KB

Pic Size: 95x95

It's clearly under the limits of what the forum says.. "No bigger than 150x150". Also, it didn't say a max file size, but I believe it used to be 19.5KB

We only really need avatars here; the photo just adds confusion (it confused me, in fact).

Profile photos are turned off. Stop trying.

I think I turned off the profile photos, I forget. We only really need avatars here; the photo just adds confusion (it confused me, in fact).

Profile photos are turned off. Stop trying.

Following severals (error) messages with the text "The file you uploaded is too large" in the section "Paint.NET Forum > Your control panel > Profile > Change Photo" could it be possible to inform the (new) members that it is not possible to upload a personal photo.

At the moment it only states:

This section will allow you to specify a photo to be used in your profile which is viewable by other board members. Photos must be no bigger than 150 pixels by 150 pixels.

It took me (and maybe other members too) some time to figure out, that it was not possible.

Kind regards.
