.Net Framework doensn't install completely

Hi,

I can't install paint.net because .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 won't install completely.

I tried .Net Compact Framework and it installed, but still my problem didn't gone:

When I try to install paint.net, this client profile window installs only 18% and then it goes away.

I'm using Windows XP SP3.

Try repairing .Net in the first instance: viewtopic.php?p=28066#p28066

Famework,

Paint.NET requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

3.5 Compact is not that.

Try this:

1) Download the full 3.5 SP1 installer here:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... etfx35.exe

It's a fairly large file.

2) Download a fresh Paint.NET installer here:

http://www.dotpdn.com/downloads/pdn.html

3) Uninstall the Compact .NET Framework 3.5.

4) Install NET 3.5 SP1, using the file downloaded in Step 1.

5) After the .NET 3.5 SP1 has installed, disconnect your PC

from the internet, and install Paint.NET using the file

downloaded in Step 2.

Let us know whether this works for you.

I did 1) and 2) at the first place and it did'nt work. I uninstelled the Compact (which i was downloaded just because name of program sounded right and i had tried everything else  )

I still couldn't install NET 3.5 SP1 as not previously, so i tried again to install paint.net.

If I disconnect my computer from internet, install can't begin. If i not, it freezes to 18% as previously
