Xakode
Cody's Rank Bar Tutorial First make a new image that is 100 pixels wide and 20 pixels high. Your canvas will look like this: Go to effects > render > clouds. (You can choose the size and smoothness of the clouds) Once you have done that, your canvas will look like this: Add a new layer. Place your text. Once you have done that, your canvas will look like this: Add a new layer. Add a 1 pixel border. Once you have done that, your canvas will look like this: Add a new layer. Make a black and white gradient. Once you have done that, your canvas will look like this: Go to layer > layer properties. Set the layer to lighten. Set the opacity to 150. You are now done. Your rank should look like this. Save it as a PNG file. You can download the PDN file HERE This tutorial was made by Cody Moore. LJXD
you could probably add colour throughout the ranks. e.g. first rank = B&W, second rank = a little bit of colour. And so on... |My Sig Tut| Deviant Art |Advanced Grunge Texture|My Gallery The Birthplace of Life
