Hello everyone I am new to the Paint.Net and I was just curious can I get a list of what all exactly is diffrent between Paint.Net and Photoshop besides the cost :lol: . Thanks!

There are a lot of differences. Too many to list.

A lot of the features in PS can be mimic'd in PDN with the help of plugins though, so i suggest you get busy downloading them. ;)

I think the best metaphor is saying Photoshop is a double-decker coach and Paint.NET is your regular compact car.

The bus is more confortable and reliable if you travel through long distances, but it's not easy to drive and park so you'd better use your car if you want to hang out with friends visiting the next town.

And I'm not even talking about the gas bill!

PDN is /MUCH/ faster, easier and less confuzzling to use. I have Photoshop Elements (not the real one, unfortunately, though my school computers have Photoshop) and if I run more than one other program when using it my computer crashes >.
