Curved Tiles Texture

This is what I got after 10 waves:

th_tiles10x.jpg

My guess is that that is not the desired effect.

Edit:

more experimenting with less radius and more waves came to this:

th_tiles10x-1.jpg

I forgot to mention the auto level and noise, pixelate, clouds.

Wow! Great Tutorial. I wasn't quite sure how it would look when I saw the title, but when I saw the end product, I thought it was amazing! Nice Job!

Here's what I made with it (a bit colorful, wouldn't you say? :D ).

I just used colour burn to blend the 4 colours and the waves and that got rid of the 'grey' areas in between the 4 colours. Although, can't see much colour between red and blue...meh

Turned out really nice! Thanks!

EDIT: I would put this as my avatar (my current one is LAME, and I can't be bothered making a new one) but I don't think that's fair, I should be making my own pictures instead of stealing from the tutorials...

Don't know if anyone is interested, but I think the results of this tute are amazing - but, I can't get it to work and it's driving me crazy.  It's as though there is a step missing.  If anyone has the time, please see if you can get the same results as @cjmcguinness.  I know it's an old tutorial, but surely the Plugins are the same?

I would say there's some Glass Blocks missing immediately after the Dents step, although I'm yet unable to produce a result similar to what is described in the tutorial. I find it strange that some steps are missing, and I feel the Glass Blocks part may not be the only one missing.

Thanks guys :)  Yes @welshblue I too just discovered the tiling method used IS Rotate/Zoom with tile checked AND not to use the Dents, just the plain diamond gradient.  I will change the instructions accordingly.  Many thanks for responding 👍

Very great result, respect. 👍 :trophy:
I'd like to know how you did it?
I'm not as talented and experienced as the others.

Thank you for sharing this with us! :coffee: :cake:

@Seerose
Happy New Year Seerose and other forumers,

My tile was created with the use of two images that I had created much earlier.

One image is of quartered circle with in a quartered square on a 5k x 5k pixel canvas.

The other image is of my logo in gray-scale on a transparent background.

I used three plugins for PDN:
SeamlessTextureMaker.dll

TwistZ.dll
Tile Image from the CurtisBlack.Effects.dll

I created a duplicate layer of my logo and applied the
SeamlessTextureMaker.dll

With the 'Choose the mode' set to Only cut (aka seamless texture helper)
'Choose the axis of symmetry' set to Both horizontal and vertical
'Flip the selection' set to No

I merged the two logo layers and made the my top layer 1
I merged layer 1 with my background of the gray-scaled quartered circle on quartered square design.

I applied the TwistZ.dll plugin with the Amount option set to 12 and all other options left at default levels.

I would got back to the
SeamlessTextureMaker.dll

With the 'Choose the mode' set to Only cut (aka seamless texture helper)
'Choose the axis of symmetry' set to horizontal
'Flip the selection' set to No

Again I applied the TwistZ.dll plugin with the Amount option set to 12 and all other options left at default levels.

Again I would got back to the
SeamlessTextureMaker.dll

With the 'Choose the mode' set to Only cut (aka seamless texture helper)
'Choose the axis of symmetry' set to verticle
'Flip the selection' set to No

Again I applied the TwistZ.dll plugin with the Amount option set to 12 and all other options left at default levels.

I applied the Tile Image from the CurtisBlack.Effects.dll plugin with both the Horizontal and Vertical Repetitions set to 4

I applied my scaled down logo to the lower right corner of the final result and placed it in the  image storage folder of

my web hosting service and shared with my fellow forumers
