Awesome tutorial, made me go download the beta, which I'm enjoying quite a bit. Here's my own spin on this technique, so to speak:

I have 2.72,do i have to download the beta version of paint.net to do this.???? can i get a link if i have to?.. thanks

Ismail_H, You are currently using the wrong Cloud effect. There is the one you are using, which is a third-party plugin. Then there is the Cloud effect that is built in v3.0b. You need to use the latter of the two.

Same tut... but instead using gradient on flat "floor" I used egg's forme...

For the right pict, I played more with layers and layers modes...

I couldn't help but start my own fire. Next, I used the original wartime Germany poster to create an image like this:

And here's the poster I've used:

I cropped some parts, pasted into new layer, blended etc., as usual.

(Please note that this is NOT nazi propaganda - it's art for art's sake only). :wink:

Working with Paint.NET is a very enjoyable experience. Thank you & Merry Christmas! :)

Just wondering, how do you create that sort of border on the image?

im new to using paint.net and im sorry if i did this wrong =D

i used to work on game graphics but this is entirely different

i used beneton. much easier to use than unfreez. and more functions.

Just a thought, if you want to animate something, animate the flames and keep the name still.
