  1. I love the H! But the Fairy Clouds pic might just be one of my favorite images I've seen made with Paint.net (which maybe sounds like hyperbole... but it's not ) Beautiful singing as well.
  2. Almost feel bad for posting this before so much as glancing at anyone else's galleries - but I think I will afterwards. Might drop a comment or two, as well. Also, you all came here willingly. Anyways, I made a couple more pictures for some playlists I was making on 8tracks. Here's the latest one: I haven't put the other one up anywhere other than the actual playlist it is on, so if you want to see it - here: http://8tracks.com/agjm/dark-dubstep Hope you liked them.
  3. My favorite type of sensation, actually. Thanks. I never really realized that I don't ever look at anyone else's galleries. There's some really good stuff around. With all sarcasm aside, I'm very good at being self-centered and not realizing it. I should get more involved in the community. Sorry.
  4. Thanks! The font is a download. Here you go. Edit: Here's the one that's below that. I've tried making my own fonts a couple of times, but I'm too lazy and don't have enough vision to do a whole thing anyways.
  5. Thanks. And I got bored again... Experimenting with the smokey stuff. Don't know if I like the outcome in this one or not - some of the tendrils and wisps are far too circular. They look like pipelines or something.
  6. First image in a very, very, very long time. Somewhat crappy quality, as it's from my facebook upload of it, but it's too small to put on customize.org and I don't like using photobucket anymore. And also, I finally figured out how to make those cool smokey effects in PDN.
  7. For a friend, by request. http://files.customize.org/download/wallpapers/65670657/102971/KT-1900x742.jpg">http://files.customize.org/download/wallpapers/65670657/102971/KT-1900x742.jpg
  8. Edited the map. Some mountains are down there in the lower left area. http://files.customize.org/download/wallpapers/65670378/102658/A_Peculiar_Map-3000x1800.jpg
  9. Well, I've only spent a few hours on this so far. I plan to put many more into it, and I plan to use it as a reference for a book that I'll likely never finish. Anyways, the image is 3200x1800, to those with slow internet, so watch out. Here it is: http://files.customize.org/download/wallpapers/65670378/102656/A_Peculiar_Map-3000x1800.jpg Now, of course, I can't show you the map without an excerpt from the supposed book (which I decided to write after coming up with a prompt based on an oddly shaped cloud in the sky that looked like some sort of strange bird from a fantasy world, that I continued to ponder over for the rest of the day). So, here you go: "Wisps of air sliced through the frills of a strange bird as it flew over – looking beautiful and delicate, and yet it was strong enough to survive in the dense jungles. Its wings fluttered as it went by, and I watched – mesmerized. The blue and red colors were majestic, drawing my eyes away from the vivid green forest around me. As I gazed at it, I began to come to my head. I would need a sort of party to journey through these areas. I would have to go back the way I had come to recruit one. I breathed in heavily and picked up my satchel, slinging it over my shoulder and allowing the leather to reach its usual, familiar position. Inside of it were my materials – a map, a compass, a box of matches, a canteen, a long knife – safely put into a holster, of course – and a few round lead balls and gunpowder packet for my flintlock rifle. I wrapped my dirty, grimy hands around the rifle and picked it up from the stump on which it had been resting. I turned around to examine my lean-to, to be sure I hadn't left anything, and then I ventured on." Edit: The current state of the two paragraphs is: "Wisps of air sliced through the frilled wings of a strange bird as it flew over – looking beautiful and delicate, and yet it was strong enough to survive in the dense jungles. Its wings danced as it soared, and I watched – mesmerized. The blue and red colors were majestic, drawing my eyes away from the vivid green forest around me. As I gazed at it, I began to realize the true demeanor of my journey. I turned around to examine my lean-to, to be sure I hadn't left anything, and then I ventured on." I made a few minor edits. Edit 2: I figured out how to draw the mountains. Tutorial by "Jon" is here: http://www.fantasticmaps.com/2012/03/how-to-draw-isometric-hand-drawn-mountains/ But here are mine:
  10. Another one of my takes on it - warning, large image: http://files.customize.org/download/wallpapers/65670147/102401/Minimal_Sharp-3200x1200.jpg
  11. While my grade was at the dance, I made a wallpaper. With warm colors. Extreme size warning. http://files.customize.org/download/wallpapers/65670147/102372/Minimal_Sharp-3200x1200.jpg
  12. I will challenge you with my new signature, seen here:
  13. Before you make the gradient, open up all of the windows. The color, the tabs, the tools, the history. Now, look at the color tab - look at your primary and secondary colors. The secondary should have a gradient fading into a checkerboard. If it doesn't, you go ahead and make it by swapping the secondary (or just swapping to black), clicking the "More >>" arrow, going to transparency, and dragging it all the way down. After that, you go to your "Tabs" window (this part you might understand already) and add a new tab, and do as the tutorial says. Should work.
  14. Really nice work. I wish I was as good as you all. Most of my images are just bright blurry lights. Excellent work. I really hope PDN4 comes out soon, because I want tutorials > You've inspired me to try copy-catting and experimenting. Learning and the like. I am extremely envious of your talent. So, now I'll be losing a nights sleep working because of you all. Keep up the excellent work you are doing - I could see you all getting much bigger.
  15. New sig: And, also, is it safe to edit my main post now? No major redecorating (or re-bbcoding) will be required?
  16. That's interesting. I prefer the second one - it has a 3D look to it, and it has more color. Anyways, my friend asked me to make her a picture with her initials on it, so here it is - it's just an edit of my flower one, though - and I will warn those with slow internet that it is enormous and it is in the below spoiler in its full 2121x1557 glory. I will also say that, having stared at it for three and a half hours while I made it, I am honestly tired of it and will not be offended by any criticism.
  17. Thanks. My favorite is the blue one, too. And my dad is going to pay me to do one of the church - he has been trying to have a map made for a while, to no avail - based on how well I do it and such. So, this weekend, my laptop will get a workout. Anyways, that also puts me on the track towards a new computer - a small amount of money is still money. I'll get there eventually. My first legitimate income from doing something for a while. I'm quite happy right now.
  18. Figured out what to do with it. I really like this one.
  19. I figured I would make a real one, too. Haven't in a while. It has a bit of empty space - I couldn't figure out what to do with it. I like it, though.
  20. I had to make a to-scale drawing of my school for math class - that wasn't the main part of the assignment - I just need one to edit because we are supposed to re-design the parking lot with 30 SHAPES! Because I'm in elementary math geometry! So don't say or think I've cheated. But yeah, I opened up Google Earth, got a bird's eye view of the school, took a screenshot, and sloppily traced over it in PDN. It looks okay in a smaller view - I just didn't exactly perfect the angles or join the lines or any of that stuff. I'm just using it for reference when we draw it in class tomorrow, as I (and the rest of the class) wasn't able to walk around the school, count my strides, and figure out how to use that to make a to-scale drawing of it in the twenty minutes we were outside today. Which is, surprisingly, what the teacher expected us to do... The rulers didn't help very much. Anyways, here is the image (larger than 800x600, to those with slow internet): Edit: I must admit that it looks... funky, for lack of a better word.
  21. I will challenge you with this: Original photo was taken by me. The version shown there is from the "Ink sketch" tutorial (not the artistic effect, but the one that requires work).
  22. An experiment. The products don't look attractive, in my opinion, but they do catch the eye. They're interesting, but not good-looking. http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd370/Andrew_MacGillivray/DistortedGlow.png http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd370/Andrew_MacGillivray/DistortedGlowV2.png http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd370/Andrew_MacGillivray/DistortedGlowV3.png
  23. Did I share all of these? Anyways, the top one is newest, then the middle, then the bottom is oldest. Chronological order from top to bottom. Hope to do more over thanksgiving break.
  24. I was just messing around with the colors a minute ago, after I skimmed over the thread again and looked at your purple variant. The cyan, blue, and purple lines tie together well. I couldn't get a good result, but I did, after a bit of messing around, come up with this: http://customize.org/thumbnails/larger/101304.jpg I must say, it looks far better in the thumbnail than in actual size.
