  1. This one mainly applies to the "Undo/Redo All" arrows on the History box but I'm sure it could be implemented on other global change functions as well - add an "Are you sure? Yes/No" box to give you a second chance to verify that's what you want to do. More times than I want to admit, I've mistakenly hit the "All" arrow instead of the "One" arrow and lost a ton of work, mostly because PdN subsequently crashed when I hit "Redo" to get it back.
  2. I do something similar with product labels for my home business. All the "common" information is on one layer. A second layer has horizontal reference lines at the positions where the "variable" text needs to go. Subsequent layers contain the text for the various product information. When I need to create a new product, I just add a new layer and type in the info, then select and move it to where the reference lines are. When everything is in place, turn off the reference line layer.
  3. Ok, so what I want is something that needs to be written into PdN's code from the ground up? Hopefully it's on the list of things to add in a future update. Thanks anyway.
  4. Looking for a plug-in but searches of the forum didn't help me much. Has anyone created a plug-in that allows you to link layers together so that you can cut/copy/paste/move elements from all layers at once but keep them on their own layers? I have a master file for my business logo that has a background, text and outline elements each on separate layers. Occasionally, I'll need to move the pieces around to make different business artwork layouts for displays, banners, etc. I also experiment with copies of each layer - blur effects, color adjustments, and the like - as I refine the design and get better at using PdN. Linking the layers of the parts and moving them all at once would make it a lot easier and faster than having to do the same procedure three times and then fiddle with the alignment on each one.
  5. Did a search on this and didn't find anything specific to it... On the History box, can you do something on the next update to separate or "accident proof" the different forward and back buttons? With the four of them sitting the way they are, I occasionally find myself hitting the "back up all" history button instead of the "back up one" button :Undo: . Could they be moved further apart so it's harder to hit the wrong one by accident? Alternately, how about a confirmation dialog box that pops up when you hit one of the "all" buttons to confirm that you really want to do it?
  6. When I have to do things like that, I like to create a "holding area" layer that I can copy and paste stuff to and keep it there as a "master" of sorts, then re-copy & paste what I need back to the other layers as needed.
