  1. Excellent tut and a very nice effect! I used a drop shadow instead of the white border/frame thing. (Couldn't figure out how to make the border look right). I also (somewhat ineptly) clone stamped the top right corner because the Magic Wand tool wasn't working for me.
  2. SCRN, me neither. Ben, great tutorial! Easy to follow, and lots of room to play (learn). My try. I edited the RGB curves on the bottom image so it's bluer and on the "explosion" portions so it's yellower/brighter/louder(?).
  3. Very nice tutorial. My attempt. I skipped over the shadow and glow steps. Pantera1395, I really like your idea of using this as a desktop background! I'll try that out later.
  4. Very nice! Something we newbies can easily follow. Add a semitransparent colored layer in between before you flatten for a solid colored background. I think this picture was actually turned sepia instead of B&W and then had a green layer put in between. But then again I was never skilled in following instructions. :wink:
