  2. When you update the classic distribution (as opposed to the Microsoft Store) of Paint.NET, the update files are downloaded to the %temp% directory.
  3. The next version of CodeLab will have improved Dark theming. i.e. More controls are now themed.
  4. @Willy the Bruce, I don't understand what you're trying to communicate. Are you saying that you can't get any plugins to function?
  5. You're showing us a tiny thumbnail image. We can't really see what's going on in the image. You are asking us for help. The onus for clear communication is on you. Please describe your issue in detail for us; so that it is clear to understand. Otherwise, I will just lock this forum topic.
  6. Please describe the steps you're taking that cause the undesired results. And why are you linking to some random article?
  7. Sounds like it's an issue with your source image, and unrelated to the actual Opacity value. Can you post your source image?
  8. Works fine for me. Are there steps I need to take for it to crash?
  9. The Print Wizard is missing from your Windows Installation. You can follow these steps to repair your installation of Windows 11 : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/using-system-file-checker-in-windows-365e0031-36b1-6031-f804-8fd86e0ef4ca This is an unsupported configuration of Windows 11. (unsupported by Microsoft) Are you using an unofficial "Slim" build of Win 11 on that old hardware. That would explain the missing Print Wizard.
  10. I assume you're copying into Firefox? https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/123570-copy-paste-regression-with-imgur/?do=findComment&comment=614170
  11. Yeah, end-users don't care about the internal implementation of a plugin. 99.99% of people downloading plugins wouldn't even understand the terminology, and would just be a point of confusion.
  12. We don't know where you saved your images files either. If you can open the files via the 'Open Recent' menu in Paint.NET, then you can right-click in the image-list and select 'Open Containing Folder'.
  13. Please follow these directions for Paint.NET installations from the Microsoft Store. https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/InstallPlugins.html#4
  14. This sounds like a DIBv5 bug in Firefox. https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/123169-copypaste-image-offset-three-pixels-when-pasted-into-paint-tool-sai/
  15. Version 2.0.0.1 posted. This fixes an issue where Assemblies were loaded incorrectly, and could then cause a crash in CodeLab.
  16. As mentioned to you before, this is a bug with the Plugin Browser. I'll try to release a bugfix release later today.
  17. Creating an animated image in Paint.NET is a kind of clunky, but can be done. https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/31665-make-an-animated-gif-with-midoras-plugin/
  18. And please post the actual error message. i.e. Click on the 'Show Details' button, and copy/paste the text.
  19. Sounds like you have an existing paint.net installation that has become broken. Please use this utility to remove the broken installation: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Afterwards, you should be able to install paint.net anew.
  20. This is just a setting in the Windows Registry. I assume Avast enable the setting, and it was never turned back off during the Avast uninstall. You can simply delete that setting from the Registry. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/your-virus-threat-protection-is-managed-by-your/279c6d56-927b-43bf-912b-99e1bdd608d4
  21. Did you actually disable AVAST? It is known to cause this exact issue. https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/117318-cannot-save-png/
  22. Is ByteFence or AVAST interfering with file saving? Can you disable these, and see if it makes a difference?
