I started scanning my photo albums and I'm having trouble with artifacts/imperfections showing. Some pics look fine to the naked eye but have white specks, etc. once scanned. Tried dusting the photos and cleaning the scan bed, but that never helped. Any sort of de-speckle tool/plugin available that doesn't require expert abilities to use? My scanner is an HP Photosmart C5580.

Guess it might've been a fluke. Installed Vista today and bug isn't present.

Its a split second random thing. Glitches and returns to normal.

I've noticed things jumping / glitching in the UI on 3.0 Final. Can anyone else confirm?

I wasn't designing an image, only converting a png image to ico straight, without any mods. Not smart/artisitic enough to design anything

Hi Is there a way to confgure this plugin so it doesn't degrade during the conversion? When I save something as .ico, it looks blurry compared to the original file.
