  1. Hi again I've had our company tech's on my computer, updated windows, restarted computer multiple times, After which I still cannot get an install to go. Same error message. Researched on the forum, and went into multiple "temp" file folders erasing files went into the paint folder erasing batch files rebooting Alas, still no luck There must be an innocuous batch file somewhere or config line or something Anyway, I spent quite a few hours on this, and can't spend any more time. Wish there was a solution. I hate having to give up.
  2. Unfortunately, after running the program, it still won't work The installation must have stalled at a point where windows does not recognize the program, by name, but Paint does recognize that there are residual files or a batch file somewhere from the previous install attempt "There was an error installing paint.net (1618) Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install."
  3. Hi I am trying to install Paint Net, but a previous install did not complete successfully How do I remove these files to start a clean install? I have 4 files in paint.net/staging similar to; PaintDotNet_x64_41071439 PaintDotNet_x64_243559361 PaintDotNet_x64_1141528296 PaintDotNet_x64_1850655331 placing these files into recycling doesn't help Thanks
