  1. Very nice and useful, TR! Would it be possible to make it remember the last save path? (just if it's not too much of a hassle)
  2. Red, I think you are too humble, but that's okay
  3. I've used Layer Saver but I'm not sure if it works for PdN 4, as I'm under 3.5.11. One way or another, Layer Saver is a standalone utility, so you run it outside Paint.NET Another option I can recommend is TR's Export Selection. This plugin is more versatile because it can save irregular selections to PNGs, but if you don't make a selection then it will save the whole of the active layer. You'll have to repeat the operation for every layer you need to extract, but it's quite simple and fast to use.
  4. Someone tell that duck that such a poignant selfie might bring about a case of anatidaephobia, perhaps!
  5. I've had this plugin for quite a while but this is the first time I formally try it out, and the basic shapes for the wings came from the Table plugin... plus several further tweaks Diving into the psychedelic colours!
  6. By the way and back to the thread's topic, very nice plugin Simon! I've used it a few times with satisfactory results!
  7. Psychocolour should be under the Color submenu, Furblur under the Blurs submenu, and Squirkle should be located under the Render submenu. Check again. Sometimes one may get lost in a sea of plugins and perhaps they're right there and we don't see them... or it has happened to me this way
  8. If the newly created layer has a white background, first make it the active layer, then select the whole of it, and finally erase the selection by hitting the DEL key. All the white color will disappear this way, making the active layer's background transparent.
  9. Eli's approach looks a lot cuter, but if you are in a hurry you can give a go to Wordle (it's an online word cloud generator).
  10. Photo carved on a concrete surface: My avatar eagle sketched on a concrete surface with black chalk, or something like that (original eagle is a pencil sketch scanned and edited with PdN): My avatar eagle carved on concrete (same concrete texture as above):
  11. Welcome and best of lucks with that mess!
  12. In case Billy can't upgrade yet, here's a version of the plugin I've compiled for Paint.NET 3.5.11 Radial Fade 1.3 for PdN 3.5.11.zip
  13. Really nice pieces by everyone. Liking everything seen so far! I'll be posting a couple of my quick tests later today, but in the meantime I wanted to add to this thread my thanks for the tailor-made alternative source code, comments, and suggestions and also the 3.5.11 version of the plugin I compiled, should anyone else want it. Texture Shader 1.0 for PdN 3.5.11.zip
  14. Thank you, Eli! Your siggie looks very likeable too! And thanks to chimay for hosting and to all voters and/or participants Each entry looks cute in its own way!
  15. I get an error while trying to compile for PdN 3.5.11. Seems the old CodeLab can't recognize the "Tuple" type or something like that. Would there be a way around this problem?
  16. Super cute and super green and super minty!
  17. Oh, yet another toy to play with! Looks like a busy weekend ahead of me!
