  1. Alright, I just sent a testcase his way. Thanks for the info!
  2. This happens on my end as well. It may have something to do with Firefox too, but I've never had it happen before the recent paint.net updates. Occasionally, it also happens to copied images (not just screenshots). It looks like the colors are off in such a way that the hue adjustment tool can't correct it.
  3. 4.0.4. seems to have a bit of trouble rendering selection outlines -- when I select a large region of complex shape (rendered clouds for instance) and quickly zoom in or out, the outline also changes size for a fraction of a second. EDIT: I'm also still experiencing the bug where window positions will always reset after restarting paint.net.
  4. Alright, here you go: Application paint.net v4.0.3 (Final 4.3.5316.40022) Build Date Dienstag, 22. 5. Not meaning to be nagging here, but... can anyone think of a reason the tool window positions keep resetting for me? Could the problem be that I have both 4.0.3 and 3.5.11 installed, and some settings are overriding each other?
  6. Most interesting; they keep resetting for me no matter what. Could the issue be that I have 3.5.11 installed along with it? Overlapping registry entries or something?
  7. Not for me they don't. (They have in versions prior to 4.0, though.)
  8. Great, thanks for the update! All I'd really like to see implemented now is the position of the various tool windows (tools, colors, layers, history) being saved across sessions instead of resetting on startup.
  9. If that's what I think it is, then it's actually a feature, not a bug. Disabling anti-aliasing should get rid of the noise.
  10. Those seem to work fine for me. Are you sure you're using the latest version of that plug-in? -------------------- On another note, I just noticed the rotation center stays in place when you drag a shape - is that a bug or a feature?
  11. Not sure where to put this, if anywhere at all, since this is basically a feature request, but here goes. What I wouldn't mind seeing in future versions is the ability to copy shapes that are still being edited. As it is now, to copy a shape I have to commit the action and manually select it. I don't know how pasting would be handled with shapes copied like that, though - that is, if the shape would be pasted as pixels or as a yet-uncommited shape. This is by no means urgent, I'm just saying it'd be something to consider in the future.
  12. After a quick glance through this thread it looks like this hasn't been reported, so... The newest build, and quite possibly earlier versions as well, draw shapes differently depending on the current zoom. See below - the left square was drawn with the zoom set to 100% (clear edges), the right square is what's drawn when zoomed in or out (rather blurry, or anti-aliased if you will). I'm on Windows 7 if that matters. ---------------------------------------- EDIT: On an unrelated note, I know it says to only report bugs in this thread, so what would be the best place to share change or feature suggestions?
  13. Might have found a bug related to the Magic Wand tool: - Select an area - Adjust the tolerance - Select some other area while holding the Ctrl key to add to the original selection - Outcome: Ctrl being pressed is ignored, the original selection is discarded (edit: wait, this doesn't seem to happen all the time?)
  14. I use them more or less frequently, and I'd find it a huge pity if you ended up not reimplementing them. The choice is yours of course, I'm just saying would keep a copy of 3.5 around for Bezier curves' sake.
