  1. Recently, when using the line/curve tool (any width), when moving 'nodes', movement is in big jumps, not smooth, as previously. PDN never crashes, its just this 'new' issue. I've never had any problems with PDN. Some setting I've overlooked or inadvertantly changed??
  2. I be trying the "noise" method real soon! Sounds promising! -c-
  3. How could I create a 'clear' (png or pdn) file with random white 'flecks' resembling falling snow flakes so I can "add layer" then paste over the new image so it resembles snow-fall falling everywhere? -corne-
  4. Does anybody recognize this font? Is it included in PDN's fonts?
  5. When I just logged on I got this page: https://forums.getpaint.net/?&_fromLogin=1 I cant find "unread posts", my personal settings, I cant even log off! What gives??
  6. Just a question, what if its an internal sata hdd? ie: E:\ (after D:\ = cdrom)? -corne-
  7. When resizing images, do the dimensions make any difference to the resulting size of the new image? Example: 5729x7354 'pixels' resized from 5729 p to 1000 p, as opposed to say 5000p to 1000 p. I mostly scale to 16-9 = 1600 - 900, 1778 - 1000, etc. 5729x7354 scaled to height = 900, width = 701, reset width (701) to 1600, = 16-9 Hope this question makes sense, , , , , -corne-
  8. Can you view/see the complete portion of what you want on your computers screen? (use ctrl + or -). Use/hit 'Print-Scrn', in PNet, 'paste', tool = rectangular select, copy, new, paste, save as "", walla! I save lots of 'cartoons' & many do not allow 'save image as', sooo, print scrn, (I have pdn arise from the depths with 'on my computer' = F8), paste etc, etc, , ,
  9. Actual rubber stamp I created & bought on line. (yes. I have a wierd sense oh humor)
  10. Thanks! This is what I was hoping to hear!! -c-
  11. Jpg images are lossy, is this the right term? I save images as pdn, png, bmp, & jpg. (1st thing I always do is save original images as png) If I have saved an image as jpg, not close it, then (add layer paste etc,) modify it , does this effect its image quality? Does this question make sense? Every time a jpg is 'opened' & modified then closed its 'quality' degrades, right? What about as above? I could (ctrl-z) back to pdn, png, or bmp, (1st lossless image) & then modify, would this make any difference? Make sense? -corne-
