  1. Once again: that's not a bug, it's a feature. And a reset isn't a workaround - but only for your special case.

  2. You can't. You have to reset manually the values to standard by pressing the arrow buttons beside the values.

  4. Barcode This is a update of @Sepcot's original Barcode generation plugin. See changelog below. Effects -> Render -> Barcode 'getpaint.net' encoded with Code 39 '93901' Postal Code encoded with POSTNET '070048016509' encoded with UPC-A Features Supports all three Code 39 barcode encodings: Code 39, Code 39 mod 43, and Full ASCII Code 39 Supports 5, 6, 9, and 11 digit POSTNET encodings Supports UPC-A encodings Automatically tries to convert text into an encodable format. (Example: "Paint" in Code 39 becomes "PAINT") Provides visual feedback for text that cannot be encoded. Uses the user defined Primary and Secondary colors to build the barcodes. Note: Barcodes built with colors other than Black (Primary) and White (Secondary) will probably not scan correctly. The width of the bars in the barcode adjust to fill the available space. No barcode is shown if the surface is too small for the barcode to be completely drawn. Supports non-rectangular selections. Note: Barcodes may not scan correctly if not rectangular. Changelog v1.5.1 (Nov 23, 2018) Fixed: Corrected the / character in Code39 v1.5 (July 3, 2018) Added: Support for the Dark Theme v1.4 (Nov 14, 2015) Fixed: Code39 Mod43 was generating the wrong Check Digit (this has been wrong since Sepcot's first release in 2007, sorry) Changed: All barcodes render a whole lot faster now Changed: When an invalid text string is typed in, the canvas will now clear instead of the 'OK' button disabling Changed: Minor UI Tweaks, should look better on HiDPI v1.3 (Aug 24, 2015) New: Generate UPC-A barcodes New: Added option to force Black & White, rather than using the primary and secondary colors New: The 'Enter' and 'Esc' keys now work Changed: UI now has a faux IndirectUI style v1.2 (Feb 23, 2015) Fixed: Plugin would crash if Unicode characters were inputted into the text field (info) Fixed: Character validation was not functional on the 'Full ASCII Code 39' option Changed: Live preview and the 'OK' button are now disabled if invalid characters are inputted Changed: Menu entry in now under the 'Render' submenu New: Text cursor is now automatically placed in the text input field when the plugin is opened New: Metadata was added for the 'Plugin Browser' v1.1 by Sepcot (March 19, 2007) Supports 5, 6, 9, and 11 digit POSTNET encodings Supports non-rectangular selections. v1.0 by Sepcot (March 15, 2007) Initial release Download Barcode.zip Source Code https://github.com/toehead2001/pdn-barcode

  5. I never did see the statue of liberty. But yes @hippiechos It was meant to use as many colors as I could. Thank you for visiting @lynxster4 You all have better eyes than I do. Here's something new I just threw together with the new filters from PS. Many more to come I'm sure. Working on spaceships and aircraft.

  7. I truly missed your first page to see all your work. Every time i clicked on your notifications it took me to your last page. good thing you made the last post or I would never have seen all your wonderful artwork. Quite the collection. No wonder you do you so well getting your wins in the competitions and earning galleria promotions. Have you been using those filters designed for Photoshop with the 8bf filter plugin?

  9. Quite right. And that's the way.. aha, aha.. I like it and I hope it doesn't change. I remember in v.3 the Rotate/Zoom dialogue box had a "Reset All" button. That was also useful.

  10. That's the normal behaviour like in many other plugins within a PDN session. The last value is temporarily stored. That is very useful in many/most cases. You don't have to remember the last values. In your special case it isn't useful but I'm afraid, that you have to deal with it.

  11. Still finding my way around this forum, find it strange that the newest post is on the last page, normally in forums it's the other way round? Still that aside, your egg really does have a flourish and then some !

  12. Ishi, I hope you are making progress. All the advice so far is what I would have said as well. My suggestion would be to just let your imagination flow on to the screen. Each attempt and trial will yield even more ideas and directions to go in. All of that is good, as you will create a large amount of things to pick and choose from. Also do not be afraid to ask someone else their opinion of your idea(s) , like a friend, neighbor, a clerk in the store, anybody, as they may see things you had not realized were even there. It could go from "it stinks" to " it's magnificent"; but more than likely somewhere in between. Then you can rework those areas and incorporate new ideas in your revised work. As my old commercial art teacher would say "try anything, revise everything, throw out anything that is not 'perfect', then start again" The idea was to develop you ideas, but don't be afraid to toss out a favorite idea and replace it with an even better idea. Let us know how your doing, it sounds like a great project.

  13. Well Said. LionsD of course its not fair (you do such good work and now with two mighty fine entry's). Good thing I not the jealous type [well I Am, but what the heck]. Good Talent like yours shouldn't be put under a bushel basket (besides I'm taking up most of the room in there ) To ALL and sundry: Humblest apologies for the double entry in the "contest arena". I Didn't realize I did that- I'm such a goof some times- but guess I'll just let remain (unless one of the Mighty-Cool-Mods wants to blast it to smithereens -er- delete it.) Oh!, And Not the Second one, please--It's my entry (just in case you were confused) Remember: All you talented PDN'ers, don't forget to vote for me , your favorite, come election day.
