  2. Ishi, first of all your work is awesome. Second, I've done everything from wedding announcements (my own) to professional restaurant signs in PDN. The ONLY issue I've ever encountered was when I needed a vector image. *grimace* I have total faith in your ability to blow their minds. Congratulations to them btw!

  5. This is a hotfix for a crash that results from copying images from some web browsers. Unfortunately this seems to be the result of a bug in either the .NET Framework or Windows. I'll try to follow up with folks at Microsoft when I have some time to do so. As usual, you can download the update directly from the website, or you can use the built-in updater via Settings –> Updates –> Check Now. Change log: Fixed a crash or hang that sometimes happens when copying images from Internet Explorer, Edge, or Firefox, and then using File->New or Edit->Paste in paint.net

  6. The theme this week is a – “Carnival/Circus Theme" which has been chosen by – @toe_head2001 (SOTW #165 winner). This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like a ‘Carnival/Circus Theme.’ Some examples are here. The deadline for entries is 7:00pm (UK time) 2pm EST on SATURDAY 29th of April 2017. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules 1. Max sig dimensions 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your sig. 2. Please keep your sig family friendly. 3. Keep to the theme that has been set. 4. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! 5. Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. 6. Your entry must be made using paint.net, please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. 7. There are multiple entries per entrant allowed. 8 . Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature, your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery 9. Signatures may be either Horizontal or Vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will, perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.

  9. Hi @Anybloodyid Try this - create an area with a rectangle and fill it with your gradient from primary to secondary. select the inside of the area and copy into clipboard. now select the area you would like to fill with your bucket - but run the paste warp+ plugin. Adjust as necessary to get the look you're after. See if that's what you want.

  10. I don't have Paint shop pro. I too don't really understand what you are asking for that cannot already be achieved with the standard gradient tool? Shaped gradients are already possible with the 'shaped gradient' plugin by N.D. using the selection.shaped gradient Alternatively copy the selection and paste it into a new transparent layer so it becomes an 'Object'. Then you can use plugins like my Object Bevel plugin (in my pack), TR's contour or MJW's version of my Edge shader plugin.MJW's version of edge shader The Plugin index is very useful too.

  20. Here's the one that I used to get started with. 12 tuts in one PDF It allows you to work offline and enough of a challenge to begin learning the basics. It does require several plugins that will get you started on your library of plugins. Currently I'm at 477 plugins (Give or take 20). Focus on the Plugin packs first - No need to download plugins individually. You will find them here Plugin Packs The green ones (sticky'ed) are the top recommendations. This will give you about 200 or so plugins to get you started. Any more questions just ask.
