  1. I've done a new portrait with the new method. I've used the Pop_Art_7 setting for the Gradient Mapping plugin on the layer affected by the Majority effect (this one turned out quite red ). The portrait is based on the following photo (you'll identify her if you are a fan of the Black Sails TV show) And here's my final result:

  2. @lynxster4 I'll look into it and get back to you. Edit: so far I've found a bug when there's more than one consecutive spaces in the Text field. Is that the case for you? Otherwise could you please post which plugin settings you used? (Text, Fontsize, LetterSpacing, Text aligment, etc.) Edit 2: OK, the bug seems to occur if the area of a line of text is to small (for example because the selection area is too small). This is now fixed. See the update in the opening post. If anyone still experiences issues with the plugin, please don't hesitate to let me know.

  3. I have tried both Mixgoom's and MJW's methods and not only on text. I'm aware I probably need to work more on the details, but I think my preliminary tests are approximately acceptable. I believe the combination of Furblur and Dents provides more realism to either chosen method. Follows what I did. With Mixgoom's method, plus some Furblur and Dents: With MJW's method:

  6. I slightly prefer the first version. There's a touch too much blur on the glass in the second one for me. Just my personal taste. I do admire your use of line. Very skilful to portray a cat in just a few lines like that!
