  1. Download: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=429F16CCEF18E484!339757&authkey=!AJ0aYSIXTh_4Jhs&ithint=folder%2Ctxt (Copy the files "ArgusPaintNet.Convolution.dll" and "ArgusPaintNetShared.dll". to the "paint.net/Effects" folder) Effect->Advanced->Convolution Applies a Convolution Kernel (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kernel_(image_processing)) to the image. I don't know if Advanced is the right sub-menu. Depending on the kernel this effect would belong to the Blur or Stylize or possible other sub-menus. v1.1 - Current Settings can be added to Presets - Presets are saved and loaded to a file and survive restart - Presets can be saved to and loaded from user-defined files - Added reference to ArgusPaintNet.Shared.dll - Fixed Bug: Previously unclamped values were converted to bytes -> strange color patterns v1.0 - Initial Release

  6. Those plugins ^^ are great - there's one for spirals in there too! Another way would be to use the 'Gravity' plugin.http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=7968 1. Text on a solid white layer (normally a no no!) 2. Draw Bezier curve lower down on the canvas 3. Select the area below the line, then move the selection slightly up to include the line you have drawn. 4. Delete these - leaving a chequerboard background. http://i.imgur.com/f5mtQSi.png 5. Run 'Gravity' plugin. 6. You will probably need to clean up the antialiasing around the text - I would simply delete the background and run the AAAssistant plugin. http://i.imgur.com/YPAfWAM.png

  7. It's something to talk about and I am just generally curious. What plugins do you use the most? I use Curves+ and Cross Processing far too much. The Alignment plugins are also used but that's just for small things usually. And for those who know me well, Shape3D. What about you lot?

Stupid photobucket resized WAY down, but oh well. This was originally around 2048X1500 or so... I am not finished with the entire piece (this is just one corner of the entire artwork). This is 100% PDN, but I used a stock in the full WIP. Using Barbieq's tutorial http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/HeatStroke99/tutorial/anothertest.png http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/HeatStroke99/tutorial/test2.png http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/HeatStroke99/tutorial/metalgrate.png the original of this abstract is 2048X1536. Photobucket unfortunately resized it to 1024X768. If anyone would like a specific size ratio of this one, just tell me and I will upload it. My personal favorite part of it is the top left corner. full(but resized) Corner: Ending the 2010 year with a BANG! Just messing around with a few textures I made a while ago. I submitted it (more details on DA) and will hopefully get an email on the verdict soon. I tried to upload it into Photobucket, but it was taking forever (3 hours, just like DA) and it never finished. I finally gave up and settled on a lower resolution version. But I will not spend that long to upload it into photobucket. I still wanted to share it with everyone here, so here is the link. http://heatstroke99....Cover-199122017 Using Sargon III's tutorial Here is another 'black star' picture. It was meant to be a wallpaper, but... I forgot to change the size when I started. So it stayed 800x600. I am fairly disappointed at that, but there was nothing I could do about it by the time I realized it. an apple made using this tutorial. ~895-graphics on DA used this tutorial and made a great picture, so I gave it a try in PDN. I only used photoshop to warp the apple at the end of the tutorial. I love photoshop's transform tools. This was made using Welshblue's great wood tutorial And I used Welshblue's great tutorial for this image: made using xmario's glass ball tutorial Pumpkin the black at the top are dragons and the white forms moths at the bottom. Hidden Content: Drawings 2 These were drawn on paper and scanned into my computer where they were edited in paint.net i will never finish this. i was designing a painting, because i like to paint, so that is why this looks unfinished. the painting looks good. Hidden Content: Space Tied for first in the SAC #12 with Madjic! BTW, I made the nebula in the background with my tutorial. Tutorial header: And my SAC entry which, for the first time, I achieved first without a tie! A new space scape WIP. Suggestions needed. The foreground landscape was made with Mandelbulb 3D. My entry for the SAC#14, and I tied for first with yellowman! http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/HeatStroke99/space/fragment_final.png Just a test to see of one of my many untested ideas was worth pursuing deeper. The nebula is a mandelbulb 3D fractal that I rendered myself. I distorted it, and added planets, in paint.net. For a lack of a better name, I call it: Galactus Feeds http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/HeatStroke99/space/nebula_3D_planet.png Happy first day of Christmas! http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/HeatStroke99/space/christmas_downsized.png Blue star field for HelenLight: Yellow star field Space art competition text in space entry (achieved 2nd): no stocks no stocks the planet is from a tut, the rings are not. planet textures: and the planet scene that uses the first texture: I'm still tweaking my space scapes: Hidden Content: Signatures and Avatars mad max, probably one of my favorite movie series. redone: i tried Stone85's tutorial my SOTW#47 vintage car entry: Hidden Content: Stocks http://www.hotrodjim...hoot/01/l-4.jpg http://fascinatingly...s-wallpaper.jpg Tried to fix the bright spot on the hood of the lambo: I dont really like this one, but I dont know how to improve it, so suggestion are more than welcome. For some reason, blue looks good in a cop sig. Tweaked: Final: I used a render of myself in a gas mask. I used grunge brushes in the background. I unfortunately dont know which brush packs were used, so I cant give the creator any credit. I will keep looking. I only used one splatter brush in this one. sig for the band Powerman5000, one of my favorite! New sig made using Chrisco's amazing tutorial: stock. New sig, exploring new subject matter and effects.
