Brillo. And you said to make a 'shiny circle' - some tips on that (the 3d look)?

Also, there is probably noise, radial blur - correct?

You speak as if he is the only one using trail to his advantage. I abuse at least 3 of your plugins on a daily basis. ;)

Great tut Welshblue. Another really nice piece of work. Thank you.

Umm...... image size? (hint hint). Here's the drill:

1. I jump up and down because the posted images are too large.
2. I tear off a terse post, pointing to the rules & playing my part as the Forum Rule Ogre.
3. You realize your mistake (associated sinking feeling).
4. You quickly resize & repost the images that are now "less than 800px at their largest dimension".
5. We all smile and happiness fills the world.

Thanks Pyro' ... the effects are only good because of the awesomeness of the plug-in.   The beauty of it is, it's so versatile.  Sort of like Drop Shadow on steroids ...
EER .. . I should have known better.  Apologies

The sinking feeling has gone, and happiness and harmony now reigns supreme

Thanks for a great tut! I look forward to experimenting and playing around with what you have taught us here.

Here is my first attempt (with Ash's gemstome tut added in)...
